Curvy Girls, an international scoliosis peer support foundation, teamed up with Boston Orthotics & Prosthetics to host a fashion show at the King of Prussia Mall on Saturday, April 1, 2017. The event featured a number of girls between the ages of 5 to 19, in their scoliosis brace, wearing fashions from retailers in the mall. Out of the 20 girls participating in the fashion show, ten were patients of our Boston O&P clinics and included participants from as far away as New York and West Virginia.
Boston Orthotics & Prosthetics shared a table with the 2 Scroth therapists from Children's Hospital of Phildadelphia (CHOP). Many adults stopped by and shared their bracing experiences and everyone liked seeing the new designs. The event was also live streamed on the Curvy Girls Facebook page.
