Why a NOPCO Residency?

Dear Potential resident,
Thank you for your interest in our Residency Program.
Boston Brace offers Orthotic and Prosthetic residencies through its clinical care division, National Orthotic and Prosthetic Company (NOPCO). We have on-site locations in the country’s top teaching hospitals, Children’s Hospital of Boston and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Since its inception in 1972, NOPCO has been training practitioners throughout the nation in the gold standard of patient care. NOPCO has a reputation for clinical research and fully supports the resident in developing a project with the goal of publishing and presenting in national and/or local meetings. Under our mentorship driven program, each resident will be exposed to all aspects of rehabilitation by working directly with physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, as well as other allied health professionals. We have 20 certified practitioners at 10 clinics providing experience in both inpatient and outpatient care in various demographic settings. This will give the resident the opportunity to learn different approaches and problem solving techniques.
If interested, please email Jim Wynne at jwynne@bostonbrace.com the following materials: cover letter, resume, transcript and references.
Sincerely,
Jim Wynne
