Summary: The Financial Business Manager is responsible for the daily oversight of the Finance Department and associated accounting/operational functions including billing, accounts receivable/payable, credit and collections, payroll, retirement plans, and cash disbursements. The role includes a significant amount of operational duties such as establishing, and maintaining, external vendor relationships as well as acting as coordinator for the outsourced company informational technology/computer needs, and the point-of-contact for contractors involved in new clinic openings.
Assist managers with budgeting expenses to drive cost savings and efficiencies. Provide required information to external auditors for timely audit completion. Promptly, and accurately, respond to both internal and external customers requests for information; coordinate appropriate follow up. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards. Provide support to other company managers with planning initiatives, reports, and recommendations. Establish and maintain credit policies and procedures to determine lines of credit for customers. Ensure compliance with government regulations for payroll, security, taxes, and employee benefit programs. Determine and maintain appropriate insurance coverage to protect company assets. Manage the administration and accounting of the employee 401 (K) plan. Act as the first point-of-contact for internal company IT issues. Train and develop two junior staff members. Maintain banking relationships and ensure debt financing compliance. Coordinate daily IT support with Vendor (Wizard); field questions from all office/clinic locations. Education/Experience: Five plus years experience in operations/accounting.
